Sam Campbell is an Irish fashion designer. He is a new trend in a fashion industry. He is known in more than twenty countries in our world. He passed through a thorny way to become who he is now and he paid a big price for his being famous. Sam Campbell is Samuel MacCampbell. He had been grown up in a poor farmer family in a village. His childhood was definitely connected with nature. He was bringing up in strict conditions. He had a difficult childhood. He had never had an opportunity to do what he really liked. He suffered from his father who was a farmer. He was cruel and hard-handed. Father was a real head of the family. His word was the rule and everything should be the way he wished and the way he said. He believed a boy should be bringing up in severe conditions that not to be a dishrag. Men mustn’t cry, don’t cook, are not interested in fashion and other female stuff. It was his vision, his opinion. But Samuel didn’t share his father’s views. He considered that it was no matter whether you are a man or a woman you should go in for the matter you are interested. Samuel liked sewing. Most of all he did it very well. He helped his mother to sew some thing for a house and dresses for his two little sisters Lisa and Maggie. But when his father found out his passion he was raving with anger and whaled his only son. And he forbade to Sam do it again. He wanted his son would become a farmer too and nothing could change his mind. But Sam didn’t want to be the farmer; moreover Samuel liked fashion and everything that was in touch with it. He secretly saved his pocket money and bought fashion magazines in a town. And when everyone in the house fell asleep he read it using a little torch and got a lot of pleasure when he turned the leaves of the magazines. Sewing and fashion was a female stuff and going in for sewing and fashion was like betrayal for his father. Moreover there was other problem for his father-at age of sixteen Samuel still hadn’t a girlfriend. Actually he was in love, but he was too shy to confess to that girl. Interest to fashion and absence of the girlfriend have lead to a terrible result. Sam’s father made wrong conclusion and he drove his son from the house with words I don’t have a son anymore. So, that was the way Sam lost the father’s blessing and the house. Sam just wanted to achieve understand from his father but he couldn’t make it. He wanted his father would proud of him but it was wrong time. Only after several years he could hear this long awaited words “I’m proud of you, my son”.
